Amazing software product for parents Feb 05, 2008

Without BigScreenLive my mom would have never used a computer. It's just so exciting for the whole family that we can share things with her now, from exciting stories and the latest pictures, to just sending her a quick email to say hi. The clear, basic computer environment has allowed her to gain the confidence to explore the internet for topics she's interested in. She really loves the daily digest section to check in on news and sports. With easy internet access, she has even been able to help me plan my wedding from 1000 miles away!

This is a great program for people unfamiliar with computers. Easy-to-read screens, intuitive. I used to work at a nearby seniors facility where I still have friends on staff. I am going to recommend that they purchase this software for the community room computers which are shared by the folks. Residents and their families will be pleased to connect with each other via e-mail, sharing photos of grandchildren and so forth. I am really excited by this product.

This software allows me to interact more directly with my Mom on the computer by giving us one tool that provides a very easy method to share photo albums, address books, chat via email, and more. It also provides her with many of the tools she wants to use (Internet, News and General Information, and online shopping) in a way that is much easier and more enjoyable for her. This is just a great tool for people who have tried and not been successful on the computer or who are using the computer but want an easy way to expand their capabilities to stay in touch with their family.
